My wife and I went to Letty Lou's for lunch on a Saturday. We made this our destination after looking at their menu online. It's a twenty minute drive from our house, just a mile or two south of Route 100. It was easy to find and there was plenty of parking. Inside, the cafe is divided into two areas: a large, open dining area and a smaller bar area. They also have a fair number of tables outside, under unbrellas. We sat inside at the bar, which has two walls of windows providing a lot of natural light. Very nice. There are some interesting bits of nostalgia decorating the bar, including a two-foot tall statue of Popeye. They play classic oldies (music from the 50's and 60'), which compliments the overall fun-feeling. We were waited on by two people, both of whom were attentive and pleasant. The menu is copious... there are many options, and not the run of the mill stuff that is so common in restaurants (this was our reason for visiting!). They serve breakfast foods all day, which I love. Egg dishes have the option to be scrambled, in a burrito, or in an omelet. I had the Dos Amigos (eggs, salsa, jalapenos, sausage, topped with pepperjack cheese) scrambled, with shredded hash browns. The eggs were fantastic. The hash browns were a little crispier than I care for, although my wife prefers them that way. Next time, I'll just ask them for not crispy. My wife had a customized omelet with a fruit cup and a side of grits. She loved the omelet and appreciated that the fruit was cut into fairly small pieces. But the star of her meal was the grits. "These are the best grits I've ever had" to quote her. This is quite a compliment, as my wife grew up in the South and has had grits many, many times. I tried a bite, and agree... the grits here are amazing. For beverages, my wife had a mimosa and I had a Bud Select in the bottle. This was an excellent experience for us. The service is good, the atmosphere is happy, and the food is fantastic. Despite the relatively long drive, we'll definitely return...there are many more things on the menu I'd like to try!

Good food, better service, I tried the Letty Lou Burger which came with specific instructions on how to eat it. It was good but next time I’m going to keep things a little more simple. The staff was great though I can’t say enough about them. I also had a Pickled Bloody Mary which was excellent.

Our family loves coming here. Food is always delicious whether it's breakfast or dinner. Everything tastes fresh and it's consistent. We were skeptical at first because they never seem busy but that's to our advantage. Servers have always been great. The owners are super friendly. It's a must-try. Oh yea, if you like spicy try the volcano burger. The flavor is perfect and it's hot! UPDATE: Country fried steak is extremely tender and delicious. Perfectly cooked.

The food was very good and the service was great as well. We ate there for breakfast and the portions were healthy. They have some outdoor seating which is nice on a pleasant day. If I'm in the area again I would eat here again.

They didn't have sweet tea, but when we asked for it, the bartender made my hubby a special sweet tea that was good. Food was amazing. I had the burrito-very yummy and my husband has the dream bowl. We're definitely adding this place into our rotation. Also there was a phone booth. I trust any place with an old timey English phone booth.

Wanted to try some place new. My husband found this place online. We loved the diner vibe. The decor and retro tables. My husband ordered a little bit of everything. He really enjoyed his breakfast. Even though the diner was busy, our waitress kept our cups filled with coffee. I wanted a burger, and I ordered a patty melt. It was delicious. I had a choice of a side, and I got tots. They were perfect! Crunchy on the outside light and flaky on the inside. The burger patty came out cooked medium, which is my preference. Just mentioned it in case someone wishes for well. I did request Mayo, which didn't come on my melt. The marble rye bread was toasted perfectly and very flavorful. Not too thick or thin, perfect. There was a bit of a wait for our food, but to be fair, there were 2 large parties who ordered before us. Wasn't horrible long but did leave us in anticipation. Our waitress was friendly and always on the move. We will return when we are in the area.
